Wisuda itu diikuti banyak santriwan dan santriwati dari seluruh Jatim.
Mereka ingin menguji daya hafalnya yang telah dilatih dengan keras.
Sebanyak 15 santri tersebut merupakan peyandang tuna netra, sedangkan
satu sisanya menyandang down syndrom. Selama ini, mereka belajar
membaca, menulis, dan menghapal dengan Alquran Braille.
Berbekal Alquran Braille
Perjuangan mereka tentu lebih keras dibandingkan santri normal. Namun begitu, berkat semangat yang gigih akhirnya mereka sanggup menghapal Ayat-ayat Suci.
" Alhamdulillah, saya senang anak-anak bersemangat belajar Alquran bersama saya dan teman-teman. Semoga bisa terus istiqomah membina mereka hingga lancar membaca dan menghapalkan Alquran," ujar founder Rumah Belajar Alquran, Taufiqurrahman, melalui keterangan tertulis diterima Dream.
Taufiq mengatakan mengikuti Wisuda Tahfiz Jawa Timur Menghafal merupakan pengalaman yang baru pertama kali dirasakan para santri Rumah Belajar Alquran. Para santri tampak bersemangat mengikuti ujian hapalan dan wisuda.
Santri Menginspirasi
Ditemani orangtua masing-masing, para santri melantunkan ayat-ayat Alquran yang telah mereka hapalkan di depan penguji. Para orangtua sampai menangis, merasakan haru ketika menyaksikan buah hatinya telah selesai membacakan hafalannya.
" Kami sangat bahagia bisa melihat anak-anak senang dan mengenal banyak teman baru," ujar Sekar, ibu dari salah satu santri tuna netra.
Wisuda Tahfiz Jawa Timur Menghapal diikuti 2.850 santri dari 19 kabupaten/kota di Jatim. Para santri terdiri dari usia balita, anak-anak, remaha, mahasiswa, hingga para ibu.
Pimpinan Daarul Quran Surabaya, Nahar Zainuddin, mengatakan kehadiran para santri tahfiz tuna netra merupakan kesempatan yang istimewa. Dia berharap para santri tersebut dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi yang lain untuk lebih bersemangat lagi dalam menghapal Alquran.
" Kehadiran para santri tuna netra adalah bukti nyata semua bisa menghafal Alquran asalkan ada niat dan kesungguhan hati," kata Nahar.
