Wartawan Detik.com dikabarkan Diintimidasi, Didoxing Hingga Diancam Dibunuh usai menulis berita terkait Presiden Jokowi pada 26 Mei 2020 lalu.

Kasus ini bermula saat dia memberitakan rencana Presiden Jokowi membuka mal di Bekasi di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Informasi itu berdasarkan pernyataan Kasubbag Publikasi Eksternal Humas Setda Kota Bekasi.


Namun pernyataan Kasubbag itu kemudian diluruskan oleh Kabag Humas Pemkot Bekasi, yang menyebut bahwa Jokowi hanya meninjau sarana publik di Kota Bekasi dalam rangka persiapan new normal setelah PSBB. Klarifikasi itu pun telah dipublikasi Detikcom dalam bentuk artikel.

Kekerasan terhadap penulis berita tersebut dimulai di media sosial. Nama penulis yang tercantum di dalam berita pun menyebar di internet, dari Facebook hingga Youtube. Salah satu akun yang menyebarkan adalah Salman Faris.

Dia mengunggah beberapa screenshot jejak digital penulis untuk mencari-cari kesalahannya, meskipun isinya tak terkait berita yang dipersoalkan. Selain itu, Situs Seword juga melakukan hal serupa dan menyebarkan opini yang menyerang penulis dan media.

Selain doxing, jurnalis itu juga mengalami intimidasi lantaran mendadak diserbu driver ojek online yang membawa makanan kepadanya.

Padahal kenyataannya ia tak memesan makanan tersebut melalui aplikasi.




Bahkan jurnalis tersebut juga diduga menerima ancaman pembunuhan dari orang tak dikenal melalui pesan WhatsApp.

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Aliansi Jurnalis Indonesia (AJI) mendesak kepolisian mengusut dugaan ancaman pembunuhan terhadap jurnalis media nasional, Detikcom.

Jurnalis Detikcom menerima ancaman tersebut usai memberitakan soal kehadiran Presiden Joko Widodo alias Jokowi di Mal Sumarecon Bekasi, Selasa, 26 Mei 2020.

"Mendesak aparat kepolisian segera mengusut dugaan pelanggaran pidana doxing, kekerasan, maupun ancaman pembunuhan terhadap jurnalis, hingga pelakunya diadili di pengadilan," ujar Ketua AJI Jakarta Asnil Bambani dalam keterangannya, Kamis (28/5/2020).

Asnil Bambani juga meminta kepada pimpinan redaksi Detik.com untuk menjamin keselamatan jurnalis dan keluarganya yang terancam. Ia juga mendesak Dewan Pers untuk terlibat aktif menyelesaikan kasus kekerasan terhadap jurnalis.

"Menyerukan kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk ikut menjaga dan mengembangkan kemerdekaan pers. Jika ada sengketa pemberitaan, silakan diselesaikan dengan cara yang beradab, yaitu meminta hak jawab atau melapor ke Dewan Pers," kata dia.




AJI Jakarta menilai di tengah upaya Jokowi menggencarkan persiapan new normal, pemberitaan yang tak sepaham dengan narasi pemerintah tampaknya menjadi sasaran penyerangan.

Hal ini jelas mencederai kemerdekaan pers dan bertentangan dengan amanat Undang-undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 Tentang Pers.

Pasal 4 ayat 1-3 menjelaskan, salah satu peranan pers adalah melakukan pengawasan, kritik, koreksi, dan saran terhadap hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kepentingan umum. Yang menghambat atau menghalangi maupun penyensoran dapat dipidana dengan pidana penjara paling lama 2 tahun atau denda paling banyak Rp 500 juta.

"Kasus kekerasan dalam bentuk doxing terhadap jurnalis bukan baru kali ini terjadi di Jakarta. Sebelumnya ada empat kasus jurnalis yang mengalami doxing terkait pemberitaan," kata dia.

Sementara hingga saat ini belum ada satupun kasus yang diusut tuntas oleh aparat penegak hukum hingga para pelakunya diadili sesuai aturan yang berlaku.

Padahal dalam menjalankan tugasnya, seorang jurnalis mendapat perlindungan hukum sebagaimana diatur dalam UU Pers.

"AJI Jakarta juga mengingatkan pihak yang bersengketa terkait pemberitaan agar menyerahkan kasus kepada Dewan Pers untuk menilai dan mengupayakan penyelesaiannya," kata dia.
